Nice; they look loads better than the Titanium version.
Rims, DTSwiss do a couple that look alright; JustRidingAlong Map rim; HPlusSon Archetype; Pacenti. Depends what you want to spend.
Brakes; check out the Juin Tech R1

Well, what a co-incidence.
I've got one of these on order, in fluro yellow as well.
Frame should arrive this week.
First new bike for 10 years!
Have gone with the standard Kinesis build kit for the moment, including cable Spyres. (Prefer cable having had lots of buggering about with previous hyd brakes).
There is a bit in a another thread Gravel ( Gnarmac ) Bikes, post #1218.
I'm gonna check for this and run a tap in each thread etc.
Can't really answer your question about rims as I've gone with the std build kit.
Tyres. I'm planning on fitting Panaracer Gravel King to start with, but open to change over time, possibly then the SK variant. Tubed to start, but again over time will upgrade to tubeless.
I have a more general question about chain lube though. Currently using a WD40 product, but always seems to stay 'wet' and so collects crud all the time.
Any recommendation for a 'dry' type lube?

Having had a look at various wheelsets I have settled on the Hope 20Five Pro-4.
I would have liked to build something up but these are just too good value for money and I will eventually rebuild the front with a dynamo hub when funds permit.
Boring black hubs though as none of the hope colours really go with neon yellow although the orange could look cool.

Spyres are a bit over-rated. They're OK at best, and nowhere near as good as proper hydraulics. I'd save a bit and go for ST-RS685s.

@scultura I've been looking at the juin tech x1 brakes as they've supposedly fixed the piston seals blowing out and use "hope seals" now. I'm still not sure how they are avoiding heating up that very small volume of fluid which i sort of thought might be the issue with the first generation early hyrds had that issue too apparently

Frame is in transit. Wheels have been ordered from Hope. Edge UK have sorted me with a set of Juin Tech X1. Finally making use of my bike mechanic discounts.
Now tyres. 30mm+ for the winter road. Any suggestions?

Vittoria hypers?

Challenge Strada Biancha?

I'd be interested to hear how they are. Never used them myself but hoping to soon

The build began today. Delayed as I initially ordered a 57cm frame for it to be more like a 55. Now have a 60 and its spot on.
Have all parts bar the Hope wheels and some adapters for the disc brakes. Ended up going with the Juin Tech X1's.
Also missing a rear centrelock axle and waiting on Strada Bianci 30mm tyres coming.
BB also needs faced and chased a little. Hopefully all up and running next week.

Beware, the internal cabling is an absolute nightmare. Similarly the brake outer for the rear, i resorted to pushing a cable from below, tying to the cable to be pulled down and using that to guide it through

Doesn't the frame come with guides pre-installed?

I have the little park tool magnetic kit. Once you have done a Trek Speed Concept you can cable anything.
Don't like how when I go electronic I can't run the cable to the rear derailleur through the chain stay. I may drill some holes though.

Nope, no guides whatsoever...

Its here.
Picked up Monday evening.
Checked it over, everything fitted/tight correctly.
Did 5 miles and made saddle adjustments. Spyre cable discs need a bit of bedding in. Not very good at the moment.
Got to sort out some mudguards.
The Sram gearchange is very positive. Impressed by that.

This doesn't help. Mines is hanging in the garage waiting on wheels. Jealous.

Is that a light on the seatstay pointing pointlessly up in the air?

Dunno, but there's also one on the fork.
Building this up as an endurance bike to race TAW next year. First new bike I've had for 7 years.
It will initially be built up with Ultegra 6800 and upgraded to 6870 DI2 once I find some cheap bits.
Could do with some advice on wheels/tyres. First set of discs and always like the DT Swiss hubs, probably go with the 350 and a front dynamo. No idea on rims but should be at least 32 spoke count. Thinking Schwalbe s-one tyres but I know there are better tyres out there.
Also need some help with brakes in regards to whether or not I go for TRP spyres or HY-RD?
Finishing kit will be whatever I have in parts bin and will gradually upgrade. SMP Dynamic saddle.
Also saw someone posting some nice carbon mudguards recently but again welcome suggestions.
