It's not there anymore, I've been just looking on the web at photos. The frame has gone off to Australian master frame builder Geoff Scott for a new rear drop out, tracking to 130mm, an alignment check, drilling for Allen key brakes and a braze on for a front mech. I couldn't find any new campagnolo compatible wheels in silver so I managed to find a set of Mavic Askiums in all silver on Gumtree that I will de-sticker for retro look.
Hello, since parting with my Strada Speciale in 1992 I've been been into the shop on a regular basis and wanted another. The shop visits have ended since moving to Sydney but by chance I put a WTB on a Retro FB forum and a Strada Speciale turned up 56x56cm of 1979 vintage according to the frame number so it has the fancy lugs. It's in etch primer apart from the forks and will go to Star Enamellers for a fancy paint job but having a fresh canvas I just don't know what scheme to do. I've just ordered a silver Veloce Groupset and a Record headset and now on the lookout for wheels.
