In case of Bianchi it looks like a pipe joint, but on steel can be stylish.

Different bike thought, headtube is same lenght but top tube is lowered...

but top tube is lowered...

why would they do that? And all the headtubes on similar bikes have a different shape..

I can't help it but think, someone bought a pro bike and it was sort of the wrong size and got an extra bit welded onto the headtube. Can't find any bikes from that team with the same kind of headtube, except for this one..

Ronny, what happened? Most of your others were reposts and/or image imbed fails but at least nice bikes. That Bianchi… holy hell it is ugly, and I say that as a dude who is in favor of wild, over-the-top bikes.

Not helped by it looking like the rider next to him is trying to grab his stem.
