  • I don't know what it is, but I like it

  • It's a bit of dry land poking out in to Howden reservoir.

  • You can just see it calculating your weight and height.
    Good one!

  • a few years ago, due to financial woes at the time, i sold my 5D mk.ii - but i got one again for my birthday last month - here's a few from the past couple of weeks (i'll try and minimise the baby-spam!)

  • they are spot on! Very editorial

  • That's nice

  • Cool pic, like the vibe on it.

  • Nice! What camera / settings?

  • I always lurk here for photo inspiration. Just had to say that I really really love this. Something about the pastel tones and the ambiguity of the weather really give me a melancholic feeling. Amazing.

  • Anyone on here familiar with product photography? I'm as keen as anyone when it comes to hobby photography, but I'm now about to step it up and take product shots for a client.

I've worked with photographers before so have spent some time working with lighting etc, but I'm far from experienced.

Currently debating doing it on the cheap with a light tent, or to go all in and get a table + proper lights.

  • Went to Tate Britain yesterday, was a little pleased with this first shot.

And on a technical level, was very impressed with this one (a Bridget Riley) as I couldn't believe the lack of pin cushion. That makes a painful desktop wallpaper btw.

  • Seem to remember @roboto had done some? I think...

  • ked with photographers before so have spent some time work

    What's the product?

I'm just giving cycling product photography a go at the moment.

  • Tape! Super sexy

But I'm keen to learn and buy kit so using this as an excuse

    Here's what I'm aiming for:

  • Mm can't say I've attempted anything like that. Could always snap it in natural light and then just photoshop to get the white background/Shadow. Controversial idea perhaps!

    @kboy

  • All you need is white paper, a small flash kit and some decent photoshop pen tool skills.

  • There's a fair bit of post on that for sure, but I think it should be doable.
