Oh hey that's my dad! He's mostly ok, fairly battered and bruised and needs surgery to have a metal plate put in to his jaw. The bleeding in that Reddit photo was from a bit of the van's wing mirror that went a good few cm into his neck. Was more concerned about the state of his bike afterwards!
