Definitely needs one of my top caps to tidy up above the stem. Free postage for you as you inadvertently paid double postage on the headset covers.
Cruxs are better off with a 45x2mm
Tolerances on steerer diameter, bearing housing cut depth and compression ring height mean some might, but others might need the 3mm. That's why people should always measure their own bikes rather than relying on what other people have used.

For future reference, aluminium Specialized Cruxs are better off with a 45x2mm.
