Burger time at the Vegan Market today. I tried two of the four available, Temple of Seitan and Eat Chay, and have felt no need to eat anything since (although see below for what else contributed to that). Both were good, although the ToS one should have had more of the 'cheese' sauce, and the kimchi on the Eat Chay one, while very good kimchi, felt a bit like a strange addition. I'd happily eat that by the pound on its own, but I didn't think it went too well with the burger.
The unexpected (as I didn't realise she'd be there) highlight of the market was the offering by the forum's very own and very awesome @tika, who now trades as 'Sourdough Mess' and apart from cookies also makes bread and ice cream. Oh my word, the 'Ice Cream Sandwich' with two cookies and two different kinds of ice cream was easily the tastiest sweet treat I've had all year. I had salted caramel and chocolate and everything was utterly delicious. She has an Instagram page, and the web-site is http://www.sourdoughmess.com/. I would have eaten another one if I'd had any space left.
