• I might drill the levers, but I suspect it'll be hard to get the spacing right and they'll look shit. Bit nervous of those clamps on the carbon bars anyway, without introducing stress points.

    Shorter and narrower bullhorns let me grip the shifter as part of the bar and change gear with minor hand adjustments, so all in all much better. They're 14g lighter too.

  • I was thinking about porting out the middle - but I get your concern about added stress points.
    But loosing the grub screws on brake levers is a start.
