Kitchen extraction: was planning on getting a fancy flush ceiling extractor for the new kitchen, but is there any reason why an in-line extractor wouldn't do just as good a job at about 1/3 the price?
Cool - thanks. It would, I think; flow rates of the larger (6-8") in-line extractors are the same or better than many cooker hoods. I did wonder, though: will the grille and surrounding area quickly become disgustingly greasy - hence why hob-sized stainless steel hoods are de rigueur?
