Saint Vitus at Underworld or Unsane at the Dome. Can only go to one but seriously can't decide which. Seen both before too.
Choices.

Heavy people of LFGSS:
I'm after recommendations. The last time I was 'into' metal was early to mid 90s, but I've been recently revisiting a lot of stuff I used to listen to, lately. I've got a bit hung up on Type O Negatives (EDIT: 3rd LP - Bloody Kisses). I like the Danzig-ey crooning and it's got dollops of other stuff I like, such as Bauhaus, Sabbath etc.
Anyone got anything for me that's in the same area?
I've gone back to their other albums (October rust was the one I remember) but they don't hit the mark so much. I've revisited similar goth-revival stuff like Paradise Lost - I don't mind the early stuff but I'm not so into that sore-throat singing as I used to be. -

Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs may be worth a look. A bit Hawkwind/Sabbath/Motorhead with some oomph https://youtu.be/a8obGb9NKk0

I like that - I'll have a listen to more of their stuff. I'm after stuff with a sort of goth/industrial sound, though. Although I don't actually like most of what I've heard of that sort of thing!
Speaking of goth, I wish these guys had made an LP of stuff that sounded like this single. I love the drum machine and wonkiness, compared to the rest of their output

Only just found time to give these a listen - cheers! Quite liked the Machines of Loving Grace and Kyuss. Needs more doom though :-)
@greenhell I gave that a listen yesterday - not heard that album probably since around the time it came out.

Saw Thy Art is Murder live tonight, playing with Justoce for The Damned, After the Burial, and Oceano. All were absolutely brilliant. Those bands aren’t for everyone, but those here who love the heavy stuff need pointing in their direction

Windhand tonight @ The Borderline. Can't remember when I last went to The Borderline...

That was a fucking amazing gig. I didn't realise Satan's Satyrs were in support - love 'em so was really pleased when I saw their stuff on the merch table. Pity their sound was shit but it was 10 times better for Windhand!

Satan's Satyrs isn't really my cup of tea but their set did get progressively better.
Windhand were awesome though, Cassock sounded spot on. Really glad they did a few off Soma.
Picked up a couple of patches too...

Unsane tonight. See they've moved the show to Boston Music Room, which I'm guessing means no PA? They were brutally loud in the MacBeth last year (two fender twins at full whack), so more of the same tonight.

^ saw Kadavar last year, they were alright. They seemed suspiciously well preened though, long flowing hairdos and you could smell the conditioner.
I've been to see a few oldtimers lately, not really metal but anyway. Hellacopters have reformed and were a bit meh tbh. Suffering without 'Strängen' on lead git after his tragic death earlier this year. Then I caught millencolin & bad religion a few days ago. Millencolin were great actually and to my surprise so were bad religion. Even though Greg Graffin looks like the boring pudgy academic he apparently is the show was great and his voice is unaffected. #csb
