I'm in the process of doing a soleswap. I did it using hot water, but looking back I would have rather used aceton. Namely because the upper shrank a tiny bit, plus the Icarus didn't come apart as easily as I hoped.

Use a hair drier, acetone can be unpredictable, its always long. I've done two pairs so not a pro tho.

No, just poured near boiling water into it. Went perfectly fine with the AM1 donors.

Should turn out something like this.
