Different fork, saddle and tape.
And some mudguards. And a second bottle cage.

some matching tyres would be first priority

and wheels.
Though I don't mind that as much as the brooks.

What lube are people running on every day bikes? Getting sick of riding home with a squeaky chain after a morning soaking! Gt85 no good!

At the moment Finish Line Pro Road. Usually TF2 Wet Lube.

Asked this in "any question answered", but may have more expertise with the functional crowd?
Will Shimano mini brake br-r353 / 463 etc fit 45mm velo orange mudguards? And will they work with 10 speed 105 brifters?
Thanks! -
• #16584
Probably. I've got TRP CX-9 mini-Vs running over 40mm GB guards and they fit ok with a few mm to spare. The BR-R353/463 brake have 90 mm arms too so work fine with the ST-5700/6700/7900 series onwards (i.e. new Super SLR brake pull). They're a little less refined in the modulation department, but plenty of power.

Thank you !

These are my CX9s over 45mm guards. The little rubber protector just slightly touches the guard but it works fine.

Out of interest, how high in the slots are your brakes pads? Looking at a similar setup myself.

• #16588
Pretty much right at the bottom.

Fantastic!
Ordered them earlier (the Shimanos) although Tredz says they need to order them from the manufacturer, since they are out of stock on few sites I wouldn't be surprised if I never received them... Saw these on a bike the other day and didn't hate the look of them unlike most V brakes (outside of pricier options like trp) -

Front rack ID?

pelago commuter L.
can recommend, although getting the front rollers on and off can be tricky when the bags are full. but it's rated for 20kg in total, that's why i got it and i can confirm it's quite sturdy even off the tarmac.they add all the hardware you need, even if you want to mount it on the front axle

Nice. That Orvowski looks very 'on here'

Really like the mix of fillet braze and the bi-laminated seat tube cluster of that Vagabonde.
