  • Amazing how both motorists and cyclists completely fail to own their fucks ups.

  • Someone did the following this morning:

    1. Barged through me on the left as I was stopped at a red on the junction of Shoreditch High Street and Old Street to jump the light and turn left.
    2. Jumped the lights again at the big junction where Old Street splits into Great Eastern Street
    3. PROCEEDED TO WOBBLE OVER THE JUNCTION AND HEAD THE WRONG WAY UP THE SEGREGATED CYCLE LANE
    4. I next see her sat on the central reservation before old street roundabout where she then rides across the cyclists now starting off from the lights.

    HOW DOES YOUR MIND WORK

    Also camera was dead bah.

  • Typical hybrid rider last night who was happily whistling all the way through Borough and E&C.

Could not get away from them until Kennington due to lights, etc.

  • Some numpty decided he would filter up to my left and then, when level, swing out to round the bus that was stopping in front of us.

Unfortunately for him I had anticipated this and upped my speed just enough to get a wheel ahead. He seemed somewhat surprised when I didn't move over to let him out (which would have put me into the front wheel of a moto).

On the plus side his brakes seemed to work, mostly.

  • There's a thread about it already!

  • Saw this on Reddit? Is he OK?

  • HUGE crowd of FC Cologne supporters marching through central London at the moment. Just went past my offices in Soho.

    Expect hefty traffic disruption.

  • You work on Wardour St?

  • The German football magazine kicker.de says 10,000 fans have travelled.

  • At least they must smell good

    Edit: #newpagefail

  • They'll flow through the streets like water.

  • They'll flow through the streets like toilet water.

    FTFY

  • The Magnificant Seven did an aftershave promotion in Liverpool. Well, six of them did, Yul never wore cologne.

  • Bit of strange one, noticed a lady and her young child standing at the zebra crossing. I slow down and stop and the lady is looking behind her at her other child, she looks up sees me waiting turns and checks the other child, meanwhile a car has stopped next to me, driver waits about 2 seconds and drives through the crossing. I'm still there standing like a plumb after about 15 seconds and with no communication from the lady I push off and continue only to hear her shout 'bloody cyclist' which causes a couple walking towards the lady to stop and glare at me. Thought about going back and asking why she shouted but I couldn't be arsed. Was very strange. To balance it out an old boy thanked me for stopping and told me to have a lovely bike ride.

  • 'Twas a trap!

  • Whatever it was, it was weird.

  • Oh snap, that's down near St Martins Lane I think?

  • I work further up and they came past. Was a bit mental

  • 20,000 sausage-eating square-heads in Soho.

  • Just drove to pick my daughter up from nursery and managed to drive my car straight through a red light. I looked, saw it, but carried on anyway. Really disconcerting and made me feel a bit un-lucid and also a twat.
