Sorry to hear that, hope he heals up well! Coming down Moorgate yesterday a green bmw came whizzing past me; road was surprisingly clear gave me loads of space so didnt think much of it but as he got to the junction he took the left turning at great speed right across another cyclist who did a pretty amazing job keeping control and turning with him to avoid getting hit. I've been involved in something similar and lucked out with a few grazes but it's insane seeing it happen in front of you.

Not my commute, but yesterday morning a van turned across my dad on the CS3 cycle path and he's in hospital with a broken jaw and enough stitches to make a jumper. Be safe out there lads.
