  • Could say the same about Klopp. He clearly has no clue how to organise a defence and the way he jettisoned Sakho out of the club is a bit worrying, seeing as he was our best defender.
Another season of winning 3-0 one week and conceding four or five the next. Oh for consistency

  • It's not Klopps's fault Mike.

The Liverpool team were psychologically affected by Ederson's injury on Saturday apparently. Here's something from the Guardian comments on the match report of Saturday's GegenBumming: -

I notice the author of this article lacks empathy with how the Liverpool team reacted after the collision between Mane and the City goalkeeper. The author has difficulty in accepting what most people would think. I quote:
"Received wisdom will say Mané’s red card killed the game, placing an asterisk against all that followed."
He then dismisses this opinion and coldly attacks Liverpool's frailty.
In my opinion the injury to the goalkeeper psychologically affected Liverpool. I am pleased that it did because it shows their is emotional depth to the team. There are things more important than winning a game and potential serious injury to a player is a one of them. Perhaps the author should think how he would react. Would he carry on as nothing has happened?

So chin up, and this year may yet be your year.

  • Depends, a serious injury in the West Ham v Huddersfield game tonight could send the Liverpool players into a downward emotional spiral ahead of the Sevilla game on Wednesday.

  • That's good to know. Hopefully we won't be sending too many of our opponents to hospital this season if this is the effect it has on the team
