  • In fairness the regulations pertaining to the fan are probably buried deep in the big yellow book and it depends what you are remembering when you design vs what you remember when you're carrying out a test.

    There's an IET website full of experienced electricians and testers who would probably love to start a 20 page thread about your fan if you fancy that.

  • All sorted now. For some reason I had a humidistat and switch installed when it was fitted. With a slight tweak of the wiring the humidistat can control the hard on/off with the switch doing the high/low fan speed.
