its very long way till wizzard
welded front rack for on-one today. Just loved Surly fork with million braze on,best fork for racks :D
-
• #53
That looks so much better than any otp rack out there. Still boggles my mind there's no company that makes aftermarket racks for surly forks
-
• #54
made a rack for a special purpose, guess what :D
-
• #55
It looks like something Tubus would have made - and I mean that in the best possible way!
-
• #56
thanks! its very nice to know
,btw
-
• #57
guess what
Vinyl LPs? Spare car tyre? Crate of beer?
-
• #58
close with vinyls, but it guitar. one guy has idea to cycle around world and needed front rack and rack for his guitar. so made both of them(in picture front rack still not finished)

Super!
-
• #61
Great rack, you hope he's going to pad that guitar a bit more though!
-
• #62
thanks, regret a bit of not making corner holds to that rack, but with straps it holds properly
hope anyone won't get angry cause of not bicycle stuff, but few things made for myself at home.
(plant) chair is just an idea to look how it will be if it will be made in future and small table for laptop

• #63
The white table looks really nice!
-
• #64
Ok, now you're just showing off!
Really nice work. -
• #65
And a sneaky shamal to top it off. Top work
-
• #66
Love the table! Great work, how much?
-
• #67

-
• #68

-
• #69
sorry for that, but thank you all for feedback!
still in prep. perhaps it will be most stuff i will be carrying on bike ever
-
• #70
well, Kiel-Paris plan failed, so made a local few day trip
and also tried to make front bag for my daily 26er. well the second version will have many changes and hope sewing will be also better
btw the seatpost look crazy long, but maybe due to photo angle its 350mm and have still few cm till limit -
• #71
That bag looks pretty nice, what material did you use?
-
• #72
in local fabric shop I found something very similar to Cordura. waterproof and very strong, but there are no names for fabrics.. so don't know exactly
-
• #73
bad weather and no work, leads to racks
got idea about making one for my daily beater.
it would be light rear rack with bridge mount, but with possibility to mount panniers.
doesn't matter that bike needs new cables/housing,... but new rack is more important :D
first idea for platform part was like this, wanted to make just differently then just put tube, but bad for pannier hooks
and then it was just like this
btw , maybe someone is searching for a rack? would like to make one if someone is interested. if yes, pm me what rack you would like to have and bicycle model
-
• #74
The second look is much better imo.
Very utilitarian and almost constructeur-like - good job! -

Yeah, what kind of wizard are you?
