Probably one of those blood lactate sensors.

Nice duct taping job on the shoes.

• #16579
How do you operate them? With your thumb, or by wrapping a hand under the bar?
-
• #16580
Surely that goes in the sandwich box.

Nice duct taping job on the shoes.
Certainly better than the crinkly wreck holding the seat tube fairing over the back wheel.
-
• #16582
Yep, thumb, if you are used to swapping bikes regularly it's amazing how quickly you adapt.

One can only imagine it's crinkly for a reason.

If anybody was thinking of riding the MDCC evening 10 tomorrow, it's cancelled due to roadworks

I missed this.
Great work fam.
How much wattage did you need for that, then?
-
• #16588
291W average. 10W down on my best for 10 miles this year, so I could've gone faster. Still good enough for 3rd place on handicap, so that's a 25 quid contribution towards the £100+ fuel bill.

Nice.
I like the fact it was under 300w, it inspires me that I might one day get there.
Maybe I should spend my £6000 on a dentist bike rather than a Clio.

POC
Can you actually fit a bike in a Clio?
Deffo get the Cervelo. Do it. Do it.
-
• #16591
Yep. Front wheel off, fold down the seats. No sweat. I reckon two might even go with both wheels removed.
-
• #16592
rather than a Clio
Clio platform + bike transport = Kangoo
Two bikes with the wheels still in plus spare wheels plus kit bags will fit easily, 3 bikes and 3 people is possible. -
• #16593
So you're saying I buy a written off Clio RS cup and transplant all the good bits on to a Kangoo?
-
• #16594
You can fit two bikes into a classic Mini if you take the wheels off.

Bloody gutted!!! Really fancied another medium gear attack, poxy council!!!!!

"Greetings from the E2!
Weather's here, wish you were lovely."
EDIT
Turned out that it was worth the effort, with a PB by 23 seconds.

I did the F10/25 this morning. On the way back down the slip road from a little detour off the wrong exit I passed a rider sitting on the verge looking like he'd had a mechanical. Got to the finish and let them know and apparently he'd been hit by a truck! Thankfully he was okay, and eventually was back at HQ with a bit less blood and skinsuit than he'd arrived with, but still alive and not broken.

Always tighten those tri-bars;

Is anyone here doing the CC Breckland 30 on Sat, or the Cambridge CC 25 on Sunday?
Getting to Cambridge from Hackney isn't too bad, but getting half way to Norwich is looking like quite a mission. Would be interested in sharing a rental car or pay for petrol.

Always tighten those tri-bars
How do you know that the failure wasn't due to over-tightening?
