Dredging up an old thread, but looking for some help finding cranks for my friend's Mercier. He has a Campy BB with 68-P-110 printed on the axle
Backstory:
My friend Nico's pink Mercier has French threaded bottom bracket which had a VO cartridge bottom bracket with French cups. The threads on this were mashed. We retapped the bottom bracket and Nico got a NOS Campagnolo French threaded BB. The description was 69-P-110 on the axle. He thought this meant it was 110mm long, in fact the above diagram shows that it is infact 105mm. I think it is JIS taper.
Anyone have information on what crankset we could use to set it up as a single speed. I believe the rear spacing is 126mm. I realise this probably won't result in perfect chainline, using a 120mm fixed wheel and spacers, but due to the cost and rarity of BB with french cups it would be good to know what we should be looking for.
