You could also try 'Talk me through it...'. Having to justify rank stupidity and embarrassing behaviour may lead to regret. It may not. As long as you have an exit planned, all good.

Once you know Cipolla's theory of stupidity it's hard not to see it everywhere. A prime example is the van driver upthread. In the end where did that maneuver get him? Same with the lexus driver. So many pointlessly dangerous passes only to catch the fuckers at the next lights.
