As these rims have been used, do I really need to do the whole cleaning them with isopropyl alcohol thing before taping them? Kept seeing these posts from MTBers about using IPA while fitting their tubeless tyres and I thought they meant beer...
Just used a baby wipe on the last pair - gorilla tape don't give a shit about a perfectly clean surface, or not.
Yellow tape is fussier though.
Width err on the side of being too wide. Even if it rolls up the side and even out of the rim it doesn't seem to matter.
OK that's good to know, ta. Yellow tape is better though right?
