    Get stans tape of the correct width and put two layers onto the rim. (You can try one layer but generally two are required.)

  • Done, thanks. I find it amazing that this info is nowhere on the internet, although I note that SL25s have been replaced with the Forzas (I believe due to cracking issues, but mine have been great - I do weigh 60kg and ride daintily though).

    Having played around further with the rubber rim tape loop with embedded valve standalone tape is definitely the answer. As soon as I have an answer from Kirk I'll buy the required bits.

    Well you were right about that. But he said:

    Our rims work with any brand of commercially available tubeless tape. Any of the popular brands work great, and we'll have more of our own soon.

    So I'm none the wiser. By the formula @chiroshi came up with I'd need 22mm tape. But Stan's comes in 21, 25 or 27mm.

    Should I go for 21 or 25mm?
