Bike was wonderful on the way down to Bristol, but unfortunately my knees blew out by the time I got down to Worcester. The train took me the rest of the way to the city and I had 27 km more to get to the festival. Got some funny looks riding in, but a little cheer from the shuttle bus queue on the way out through the muddy carpark, after which I nearly stacked it.
Enjoyed a little dirt and some small roads on the ride back to Bristol for a weary, satisfied train home to Manchester.
So happy to get this back on the road, and can't wait to get dirt-friendly tyres and mudguards on it.
Lookin good. My sister in law lives in Bristol, my good lady suggested going to see her at half term, I suggested I ride, what route did you take, and how long did it take you to get to Worcester? Just thinkin about amount of daylight available in October.
