I would like a steel fork for my IF Crown Jewels. Fairly standard stuff, 1,1/8 steerer, Axle to crown 367mm, 43 rake, but clearance for 30mm tyer. From an aesthetic point of view I'd like it to be a straight blade. Does anybody in the UK make stuff like that ? if they do, would it cost more than £300* ?
*the point at which I should just go and by an Enve fork which will tick most of the above boxes.
367a-c and 30c tyre is going to be the sticking point. Price wise there are plenty of people who'd do a fork for £300, it's just whether it is the aesthetic you want that will be the question
Yeah I had a feeling that might be the issue. In all likely hood I'm unlikely to put anything larger than a 28c tyre on it which is a more normal isn't it.
