Anyone looking for a 20" (51cm) Vigorelli frameset? https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/291203/

I'm looking for a 23 inch Bob Jackson Vigorelli if anyone has one.

Are these still rated well? Thinking of getting a Vigorelli in 853, or should I spend another £500 and get a Woodrup?

Jacksons are good value for what they are subject to a couple of caveats. Their paint looks ace new but is notoriously soft - mine is year old and could do with a respray. You will also have to wait - my lead time was 6 weeks. The Woodrupps look nice but whether they are worth an additional £500 is a subjective judgement - both frames will be made out of the same tubes by builders who know what they're doing. Worth noting - Jackson aren't doing custom builds at the moment, off the peg only. Which isn't a problem if you already know your sizes, of course.

Cheers, thank you!

Finally took old Bob to LVV to ride the boards instead of HHV tarmac this morning. Was so much nicer to use my own instead of the hire bikes.

Cross-posting here (as well as the 'how much is this worth' thread) to ask how much a used Bob Jackson Olympus 853 frame and 1" carbon fork would expect to sell for? Any idea?
Cheers!

Do you have pictures?

No, it's one I'm thinking of buying - just trying to gauge how much it's actually worth... May have pictures soon :)

Not a lot of action in here of late...
After my daily commuter Bike Meilec frame cracked I thought I'd treat myself to a new steel frame this time round; a bit of an odd mix of new frame (coincidentally it looks a lot like one of the early frames in this thread) & ratty components as they've just been transplanted across from the old bike but here it is:

Actually I don't think I ever posted my older Bob Jackson here either - still going strong after 8 years, more of a weekend/holiday bike nowadays though:

After my Surly Streamroller frame was destroyed - the "Greenroller" - I grabbed the parts and built it up again around a Bob Jackson Vigorelli frame in British Racing Green. I am very happy with the gold lug liner and barber pole in ivory, as is the logo.
Went for a frame that would take an Ahead stem, which meant oversized tubes, and added mudguard eyelets and a drilled hole for a rear brake.
Some key components: V-Sprint built wheels with Miche hubs, Brooks Cambrian C17 saddle and Carradice zip roll saddlebag, Factory 5 chainset. And a brass bell attached to a special spacer from Fresh Tripe.

I've only had it a couple of weeks and have not ventured south of the river on it as yet.
Thanks +richardshill it feels like it's the bike that my old Surly always wanted to be.

Any real life examples of the petrol blue colour? Was going to treat myself to a new frame and was leaning towards the Cinelli Vig, but after much deliberation I think I've decided on a Bob Jackson.

Is the correct answer.
Yes bump up demand. It would be nice if they did custom tube length like 59 x 57 or whatever to fit but that could be asking too much it's their business model not the be all and end all
