Not being a smartass - why LB over the others?

I wouldn't mind hearing the consensus on this too.
Anyone have experience of ordering LB via their global website shipped to the uk? Did you get hit with import taxes etc? Shipping times?

A month from order to receipt. Yes you will have to pay duty and vat. Worked out around £60.

I chose lb because of prior experience. Quality of the rims is ace.

I only went with LB as recommended on here and weightweenies. i can see why though, really high quality finish, good customer service, no problems at all. a lot of mtbers use them as well without any issues. they also offer a lot of choice in what you want. mine haven't failed or anything, and I don't think they will!

i ordered 4 rims (2 for @noBlakes, told them to mark them as $25 per rim which they did happily so paid very few fees

they also seem to be ahead on the R&D side. seems to be new rims available all the time. keeping up with trends like width, tubeless compatibility and disc..
