I feel like it's only post processing effect when they tried to make everything shiny and bit blurry. Anyway bike is rather ugly and if posted by anyone else than Gaston would be criticised a lot.

No chance. Look at the reflections on the rear derailleur, below and right of the limit screws. Too intricate to fake (without any real reason).

Note the diamond chainstay's on the Benotto!! sublime.
