Absolute banger.

the scapin frame had a blue 1' steel fork.
I prefer to have it with the easton EC90 1' fork

I bought this frame here (lfgss).
it came with a 1' aluminium easton fork but I used a Look 1' carbon fork.

It's my old 1995 Master Olympic. I rode it with Athena 11. Why I sold it about 5 yrs ago, I don't know?!!

What is the hive mind's view on using modern black componentry on retro frame. Personally, divided on the issue although having said that, the above example is very interesting.

Black components only add to the neo-retro idea for me, because most (older) components used to be silver. Along with full carbon wheels to finish off the black theme.

It looks fine to me, I think the key is to get a colourful frameset and then have everything else black.

Transparent duct tape. There are guides, but I use this bike with a frame bag for touring & it presses on the cable, which makes the pressure funny, so prefer to have it in a cable housing.

Also, the cable stops are odd sizes & I haven't been able to find anything which works. A right pain for the derailleur cable.
