So one is at the upper weight tolerance for manufacturing.

That's really light, where does the difference in weight come from between the two versions?
-
• #181
They must weigh even less once the bowl is subtracted ;)

Makes me realise my rims weigh a bomb at around 440g each.
Fuck it, I need another new bike.

Can yours fit 650b?

I meant the difference between the flyweight and the standard versions!

They make the walls thinner.

They say "New layup for weight saving" and
"Standard: Each rim carries its own layup schedule documents which are followed meticulously by the layup workers. Our Engineering team creates a unique fiber orientation which amplifies the desired riding characteristics for a given rim.
Flyweight: New layup design at the nipple bed to reduce the amount of material required and reinforce the key area around the spoke holes." -

Filth anyway. Wish you'd gone for slightly less hefty hubs to make some truly lightweight wheels. Don't get me wrong, dig Hopes and all, but they're not the lightest and the fucking noise is enough to wake the dead. Way over them. Saying that, dis bike gonna be hawt!

Yeah, why you no go Chrissie King?
-

I like Hope hubs. Easy to service, bearings are simple to replace and noisy pawl system.
Chris Kings are lovely but I don't get ISP rates any longer. Also I believe they weigh more than rs4s

Sick tyres, where'd you get yours?
Also if you don't mind me asking because i plan on buying a set for my wheels, what else do you need to make them tubeless etc?
-
• #194
Those rims look lovely...hurry up and get em built, I want to see what those tyres look like mounted!

They are about a mile from me as I discovered yesterday. You'll need a tubeless rim, appropriate valves, rim tape and sealant. Possibly a tubeless pump or compressor.
He is away on holiday for the next week or so; don't expect next day service until he returns.

Much easier than this.
For my mtb and cx bikes I have used gorilla tape from Halfords, stans valves, stans sealant, and a home made air blaster with track pump. I have found 2 layers of tape to be perfect but probably dependent on rim. Make a very small hole at the valve hole and really squeeze the valve in.
Home made air blaster is like the one on bikeradar: http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/article/how-to-make-a-tubeless-inflator-44290/

I hit go on the bars. Mantel have a note on their site that the bars have the same proportions as the ergonovas which I have used on 3 other bikes. So despite all the claims that they have ludicrous reach this is not the case. As such they should be comfy and fit well.

Shame they're pig ugly... :-)

The only way DJ is getting on prolly is because of his tractor

Having my bikes on prolly is not my raison d'etre. Was the realisation that sora was never going to make the grade the reason for the dbad bike being aborted?
What do they weigh?
