FS: Custom steel Obree Old Faithful and Moser AX Leader hour record tribute frameset

For sale here is my custom steel Obree Old Faithful and Moser AX Leader hour record tribute frameset.

I had this built approximately 3 years ago by Kajak Custom. You can find more on the building proces on the current projects thread I did on it here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/256531/

The frame features 38.1 mm straight 0.9 mm straight gauge tubing for the main tube and the seat tube, and aero chain and seat stays. The fork features Columbus MAX fork blades.

Geometry chart is below, but the size is equivalent to a 57 cm standard road frame. The seat height is obviously fixed (currently 77 cm from the center of the BB tot the center of the seat rails). The seat post clamp is a separate part though, so an experienced frame builder should be able to take it off, cut down the seat post and fix it in place again.

The frame is in good condition. The paint shows a couple of mostly minor paint chips, scuff marks and scratches. There is some chain rub on the inside of the drive side chainstay. The chain tends to rub when in highest gear on wheels were the freehub is spaced very close to the dropout. You could indent the frame to prevent this, or simply refrain from using the highest gear.

I would like to get GBP 450 for the frameset including shipment to any country in the EU. I think I spent easily three times this amount.

Oh mammy. Definitely cracking out the tape measure when I get home, just need to work out how the fixed saddle height would work with a Flite fitted.

Super cool frameset

Going to be too big for me unfortunately and seems a shame to literally alter the geometry cutting down the seatpost. Such a crazy frame.

Very cool. GLWS. It's great to see a genuinely rare/unique frame. And love the paint job.

I've disassembled the bike, so unfortunately I can't help you with that measurement. C-c top of seat tube to top of head tube is 62.5 cm though if that helps.

Don't want to be Mr Doom here but there's no way I'd ride that with an unbraced head tube like that. That's just asking to snap.

I rode the frame in several Ardennes gran fondos, which included cobble stone sections. I also rode it in several crits. So I think it is safe to say the frame is plenty strong.
