If they've done it with Coutinho, then why haven't Liverpool reported them?
He'll be gone by midnight tonight.
-
• #137978
Because it's the Barca way and they are the mighty Barca and it's their right to behave like this because every footballer on the planet dreams of playing for them.
-
• #137979
That's bullshit. If they've broken the rules then Liverpool should report them.
Unless of course, Liverpool also break the rules so won't do it because what goes around, comes around.

Look on the bright side, neither Spurs or Chelsea have squads as thin as Arsenal's, and they both have managers who can actually coach a team.

But looks to me like you swung and missed on more than you hit. If this season doesn't go well, changes at the top @WornCleat
No major team other than Arsenal will keep a manager for more than three or four years in future. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern all swap and change with regularity. If we get two more good years out of Conte I will be happy. The days of the SAF style regime are long gone. Wenger is an exception and some may argue, a good example of why managers should not stay too long.
I am not disgruntled with our purchases. A decent number of good arrivals and some real upgrades among them. Even yesterday's last minute signing, Zappacosta, looks right for a Conte team. Conte had called him up for Italy in the past. A RWB, taller than Moses and the second best crosser of the ball in Serie A last season. Apparently he is also not prone to foul throws. So a better position at RWB than before.
Even and LWB, Kenedy unexpectedly stays. We have conver for the excellent Alonso.
Conte will have to use more players than last season but now he has a bigger pool to select from. Players like Fabregas will get more playing time.
The real question is whether the buys were Conte's or Emanelo's. The ones that have actually come rather than those that didn't strike me as more Conte people. Lukaku and others look more like Emanelo. This is a positive.
We may win nothing this year. I would hope that we will win something. It would be foolish to expect to win the league every year and from an ever more competitive PL, folly to think that one can now dominate the CL. Looking forward to an enjoyable season.

I think we've done OK in this TW, would've been much happier with Llorente on board but we'll just have to rely on Batman and Tammy to get us through... Eden can play up front anyway...
I think we're gonna be OK...

Oh do me a favour. Everyone knows that Barca operate differently to all other clubs and are allowed to get away with it. It's an unwritten rule.
Coutinho is going nowhere. Fact -

The one that I think Conte would be disappointed on is Lorente going to spurs he has suggested he would like him in since last Jan, but as you say an ok window in the end, I just wish there wasn't the last min dash to fill places that needed cover. Also the Costa saga continues but he could go today. I hope so don't want that hanging over the squad.

apologies didn't make myself clear, my changes at the top question was aimed more at the people above Conte, Emenalo, and the other director of football type people who sign off on transfers, or who have the ear of abramovich... If this season doesn't go well is there a reshuffle of them?

tammy's at Swansea, unless you recall him early from his loan..

Those ITK are saying he didn't even have a medical and we've put the story out to save face.
He's out until Nov/Dec any way so why would anyone buy him now paying his £100k a week wages when they could potentially get him for cheaper in JanI reckon a deal's been done already(between Chelsea or Spurs I don't know) and Barkley's advisors have just conjured up a story with Everton and the media
Put it this way, he's played his last game for us
-
• #137989
It was a crazy idea, who would pay that when they can get him for fuck all when he's finally fit in Jan anyway?
@cornelius_blackfoot You're right, forgot he'd gone to Swansea... Amazed we didn't do a contra for Llorente... Some questions need to be asked of the board, not that I'm disappointed... Imagine if we'd signed all the shit Emanalo wanted in!!

My penis is effervescing at the thought of our new signing, Frank, planting some of his sweet crosses straight onto Morata's noggin... He's got a very, very good right foot... 🍆💦

To top it off, he was driving a VW Beetle.

you can take the boy out of everton and then resign him 14 years later, but you can't take everton out of the boy

• #137997
What a fucking loser. Disgraceful behaviour and zero excuse, though I am sure it will be due to the reaction with some medicine he is taking and he really only had half a pint. The club should give him the boot

• #137998
he had his picture snapped earlier that evening by a fan in bar, probably with a beer in each hand

ooooof
Exactly! And which club had to come out with a grovelling apology? Barca do it every single transfer window and get away with it. One rule for them and one rule for everyone else
