    "CBA" is probably misguided. You'd be looking at 2 days to file back a frame, the cost of which (and your overheads for those days) you'd have to add to the bike price, of course.

    Personally, I wouldn't buy one, not my kind of bike. I can see where the £4k goes for sure though!

  • Well it's £2707 at today's exchange rate so it's certainly a better deal...!

    I like the bike. It's cool. Just IMO very expensive when you compare it to what else you can get from very very experienced framebuilding houses. Speedvagen being an example of this.

  • Are they really stronger? Material loss is going to be minimal, and smooth filing should reduce the number of crack initiation sites.

    I quite like the paint and spec, but to my internet-nerd shallow-pocketed mind a >£4K bike is competing with custom bikes that have pretty flawless finishing; Talbolt/Hartley/Feather etc. territory.
