Functional help:

I want to change my caadx for a cross-check.
Cross check seems more versatile. On my caadx I'm worried about cracking a stay from heavy panniers (on the v rare occasions I ride with panniers).

Laner and pastry_bot say DON'Y DO IT. But I want to.

If you're after a 56cm I'm considering selling up. Nothing like a 2 week long tour to make you regret buying a frame slightly too small. Running a pretty eccentric set up inc. downtube shifters and dirt drops, 105 chainset with a 11-34t cassette on the back, so frame might be the only part you want.

Hmmm whereabouts are you based?
Wouldn't mind giving it a spin. I think 56cm may be too large. Especially as it's a cross-check.
