  • For sale is my Pearson Touche, I don't know the size except that it's larger than what was advertised/available on the Pearson website and geometry chart (story on the phone was it was the last from a batch made for British Rowing). Will put up some basic measurements tonight, but I'm happy to get out a tape measure for any requested measurements (of the bike).

    Spec/components:

    • Frame : Pearson Touche, rather fetching metallic grey, seat tube 61cm C-T, top tube 58cm C-C, head tube 16cm
    • Fork : Kinesis disc
    • Wheels: Front is Mavic Open Pro on Shimano Deore hub, rear is Halo Aerorage
    • Brakes: BB7 on the front with a newish disc, Tektro on the back
    • Finishing kit: Bullhorns, Deda stem, carbon seatpost (not Thomson as shown)
    • Cranks: Either original 175mm 46t, or mismatched 165mm 48t Miche Primato
    • Sprocket: Currently running fixed with 16t, freehub 17t on the other side
    • Mudguards not included.

    Willing to split.

    Price: £360 -> £340 -> £320 -> £300 -> £280 -> £260 ONO, available for collection in KT4 or WC1. Forum donation following sale.

  • lol thats not a big frame, its a massive seatpost

  • Fingers crossed the frame is big, wouldn't be the first time I've ridden a "big" frame only to measure up and find out it wasn't.

All my bikes have amusing seatposts, only one that doesn't is a 64 and that has an amusing headtube.

  • Wow! How tall are you if I may ask...

  • Some frames the smaller they get, the bigger they look

  • Got out the tape measure, seat tube 61cm C-T, top tube 58cm C-C, head tube 16cm

  • Price drop, £340 ONO

  • Price drop, £320 ONO

  • Lovely but there's no way that's a 61. My 57 (from memory)

  • Fack, that's an amazing colour-way!

  • Nice.

Measured 61 from BB c to top of the seat tube. 57 might be C-C.

  • Yeah, I really shouldn't have sold it. Was stolen from the new owner as well.

  • Nooooo. Didn't know you'd sold it. I have a black one like @pjhobs has but a lot smaller.

They're great bikes - light, good handling, practical (the only OTP fixed bike which takes two brakes and two bottle cages). Very underrated so tend to be sold at bargain prices like this one!

  • Yeah - was always slightly too small for me but still loved it - did my longest ever ride at the time on it. Great bikes, GLWS @pjhobs

  • I see there's plenty of clearance at the front, but am curious about how big one could get on the rear?

  • Currently running 28s with guards. Internet says 32 without guards but it'll be tight, I've never tried.

  • Another drop, £300 ONO

  • Needs to go £280 ONO. Happy to split.

  • How much for just the frame?

  • Haven't thought about it, had a quick look but couldn't find any frames previously sold. Happy to take offers.

    Anyone interested in other bits?

  • The fork, depending on price

  • No luck selling the frame, so another price drop!
