Yeah the Port Talbot one on the 10th. Hoping I don't get bumped to the overflow or that means a really really early start...

Thanks.
I've entered, mainly because I love the idea of riding on a race track.

I've raced crits on race tracks in Oz and the Revolve 24hr was at Brands Hatch. They're only fun if you have enough spare breath to make the BRRRRM! noises... :)

I'm just going to put knobblies on and jam a can in my brake bridge.

just got my acceptance, hope you got yours, what's your LTS?
-
• #16510
Yep, just got mine. 51:38 set on the E2 earlier this year...hoping to go a bit faster on Saturday, mainly through not going off the RAB at the wrong exit again!

Were you on deviant cranks?

Wut? I thought any time with a 5 at the beginning of that course was slow on that course these days...
Good luck, what are you aiming for?
-
• #16520
"only" the top 50 went under 50 at the nationals, although it was apparently a slow day (when have you not heard that said after a TT?)..
in reality my main aim is the 10 the day before, but any kind of PB would be good, if it could start with a 4 that would be dream territory.
presume you are hoping to do similar?
-
• #16521
I still haven't managed a time starting with a 5 on that course this year.....

Sub-51 either tomorrow or next week would be amazing, I think I have it in the legs as the pb in April included about a minute of getting back onto the RAB after my error...but who knows.
Did the F10/25 a few weeks ago with a 4-way split 373w - 359w - 365w - 367w = 367w average, and that was after a full week of training so 375w target and take it from there.

Are you riding a shopping bike? I did a 51 on that course in the wet after coasting down the hill wondering what was making all the noise and about to fall off my bike. How big are you? With that power, unless you have a bigger beer gut than me you should easily be able to fold yourself up enough to ride a 49.

that's a lot of watts compared to me, will be interesting to see how we compare time vs watts on the 10th, keep meaning to put my powertap wheel on the back of my tt bike and do a side by side comparison of the data with my quarq!

I was described at the LVCC Tuesday 10's as a 'shed' which was maybe a bit harsh. Number placement improvement notwithstanding.

Suitable replacement pads for Zipp Vuka? The fabric covering on mine have gone baggy after sweaty forearms and a possible 3cm illegal position...
