  • 😂😂😂😂

  • Yeah but the sheriff thinks he's got a way with errant footballers (think dani Osvaldo at Southampton) so I'm sure he's confident he can smooth out the rough edges, also maybe getting out of Paris will do aurier good, leaving behind bad friends and hangers on etc. But physically and tactically he's good for what we need, and ups the competition level as he can play on both flanks..

Not sure if is being linked to llorente is a good or bad thing. He's that experienced striker that we need, just not sure he's mobile enough to fill in for Kane, and for my sins I'd like to see janssen given the opportunities to prosper..

  • Coutinho defo off, deal done 2 weeks ago

    £140m

Not announcing today though, tomorrow when the Spanish window closes

  • I hope for your sake it goes better than it did with Osvaldo... if not expect headbutts incoming...

  • he is reaching peak coutih-no
would have been good to see him play for us this year, he has improved greatly in the last 12 months

  • Press reporting that Everton want Batshuyai.

Press seem to believe that Chelsea is rather like a pick'n'mix counter. You turn up and choose which player you want, name a price and it's a done deal.

Without an additional striker joining, it is hard to see why Chelsea would give Batshuyai to a team that has consistently refused to sell players to us.

Oh well, it was in the press and so it must be happening.

    Everton's to loose.

  • They're getting Diego as well, Clive... Done deal...

  • Llorente is a good player, but can't last 90 minutes. We start with him, hope he gets a headed goal, then take him off in the second half.

  • I heard it was a straight swap with Barkley.

    taps nose

  • He's shite. Proof that buying a player based on a couple of decent performances in tournament games is rarely a wise idea

  • Of course, that's why we are spending money like there is no tomorrow.

  • Van Dijk deal done £70million. I just saw him at Euston

  • He'd probably be the impact sub, rather than the starter, and then vying for starting time come the cup games with Janssen.
I don't think Levy will stump up the cash for him, not at his age. But depends on how much leverage Pochettino has with him. We've brought more players in the last week, than I thought we were going to get the whole transfer window. But still feel unless Lamela is 100% when he returns and GKN does a Son and kicks on in his second season, we'll need some attacking reinforcements over and above the striker...

  • Also reports are suggesting if we get Llorente that Janssen is out the door!
Which seems crazy to me, having just two strikers plus Son who can play up front seems to defeat the purpose of having a strong bench, and a bit of strength in depth.

  • Janssen

We were after him as part of a double deal with Wimmer. We haven't signed another striker so potentially still on the cards...

We've nailed this transfer window so far!

  • are you keeping Chadli? or is he off to Swansea?

  • Lorente is class and Spurs spunked 30 million on Soldado when he turned us down. He has a better shot conversion rate than harry and scores more headers. Also can score in august.

If Jansen can get some games and confidence on loan at west brom it will be good. He is a shadow of a player at mo and it's self perpetuating cycle. Needs a bit of tony love, or to just HTFU and start trying to get in and score instead of hiding.

Lastest on SSN is idiot Dwight Gayle turned up to work this morning 4 hours early as it was an afternoon session. He did a u-turn in the car park and left.

  • We still want the move to happen and so does Chadli. Just depends on Swansea stumping up the cash...

  • £26m? Fuck that.

  • Based on his performances with us, i totally agree but football is officially #properfucked and so if we think we can get £26m, we will try!

Blame Everton for spunking £50m on a 28 year old.

  • Is Carlton Cole still available?

  • no disagreement on the class of llorente, wanted us to try for him, before he left Athletic for Juventus, but we were never in with a shout..

Seeing Albion are putting in a bid of £25m for Janssen, which seems an awful lot of money for a player that I'm still hoping turns the corner and becomes a decent striker..

  • With his brother Young Joe?

  • Seems like Chamberlain took a 60K a week pay cut to join us. Speaks volumes about him and the sinking ship

  • He'll make that back in sweet, sweet Nivea for Men money after he switches with Coutinho in that shit TV ad...
