Yes - that's the most fucking stupid thing I've seen in my entire life and completely contradicts the idea of internal routing. Internal routing should be exactly that, not just the last few mm of electric cable.
Why won't a manufacturer just make a nice set of alloy bars that has PROPER internal routing?!!?

Just saw this photo in Velocio's Seven build CP thread.
Would I be crazy to drill a hole in the bottom of the drops on my carbon bars to allow the bar end juction box then route along the outside as shown on the right?
