  • It's refreshing to know that Neymar earns more than my annual salary in under half an hour.
Brings a smile to my face

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/41037621

  • ox is basically admitting he is starting to lose the pace that at times made him effective out wide. that self awareness does not extend to him realising he us not fast enough in the head to play central. never really rated his distribution either

  • would be ace if chelsea could get the ox and barkley. might as well get Wilshere in and YJC back to complete a midfield line-up of the overrated

  • It would take me 83yrs to earn Neymars annual wage

  • Barkley will be another Rodwell/Sinclair etc...go to a big club for 2 seasons, make around 20 appearances then be sold to a Newcastle/Sunderland/West Ham and be a forgotten 'potential' talent as well as getting nowhere near the England team again.

On his day he can be fantastic, driving forward, scoring ridiculous goals...but 9 times out of 10 he his misplacing passes, dwelling too long on the ball, passing sideways/backwards, missing the easy passes forward etc

He will never be a central midfield force like Lampard, Gerrard, Alonso, Scholes as he simply hasn't got a footballing brain

  • Yep. They are all well overrated as with most English midfielders

  • You're on £500k a year? Pics, or it didn't happen.

  • So I would say Mike is on 5k per year and pisti 500,000k per year. How not to use the internet.

  • Blue / Red divide.

  • Ahhhh, fucked it!

    830yrs!

    😳

  • You're on over EUR500,000? (45,000,000/83 = 542,168.67)

EDIT: oop, late to the party.

  • He will never be a central midfield force like Lampard, Gerrard, Alonso, Scholes as he simply hasn't got a footballing brain

Pisti lavishing praise on two Liverpool players? Now I've seen it all.

  • Putting my allegiances aside, Gerrard and Alonso were both fantastic footballers

  • erm. Have we entered an alternative reality?

  • Shock news: civil servants in health earn rock all.

  • we do it for the betterment of all dude

  • and the free lanyards too of course

  • Alonso yes, Gerrard was a great runner about and do stuff in front of him all action have a go-er

  • And the multiple passes....

  • You get free lanyards? FFS does the Daily Mail know?

  • I lolled... U OK, Pisti hun?

  • Very odd for us to get rid of some very promising young players on the cheap and then try and replace them with a bunch of overpriced premiershit hacks...

  • Think maybe the young players are realising there's no route for them to play substantial minutes for the first team.
No point in staying at a big club if you don't get to play any football. Or in the case of zouma, break into the first team, impress, get injured, recover get sent out on loan and probably not going to get another sniff of the first team again..

  • Disappointed to see Gibbs leave Arsenal, one of the few home grown youngsters who actually made it to the first team.

Hopefully he'll benefit from some decent defensive coordinator coaching at West Brom; he's got the skill and ability to be a good defender just needs some coaching on positioning and playing with other defenders.

  • Pretty happy with that signing - been after a properly quick leftback for aaages.
