Barkley will be another Rodwell/Sinclair etc...go to a big club for 2 seasons, make around 20 appearances then be sold to a Newcastle/Sunderland/West Ham and be a forgotten 'potential' talent as well as getting nowhere near the England team again.
On his day he can be fantastic, driving forward, scoring ridiculous goals...but 9 times out of 10 he his misplacing passes, dwelling too long on the ball, passing sideways/backwards, missing the easy passes forward etc
He will never be a central midfield force like Lampard, Gerrard, Alonso, Scholes as he simply hasn't got a footballing brain
