• Porridge should be made from oats. Oats don't contain gluten. The gluten-free label is just informative, it's normal porridge. Maybe shit, but just porridge.

  • Oats are milled in the same mills as wheat, barley and rye and are contaminated with gluten because of that. Ceoliacs have to ensure they eat oats milled in non-contaminated mills to be safe.

  • Ah yeah. So gluten-free labeling is meaningful. But means it's even more porridgey than regular contaminated-with-gluten porridge?
