I think defenders is boring because ultimately, they all do normal shit, just slightly better.
one can't get shot and is strong
one is just strong and a detective
one has a glowing fist that he never uses
and one is blind but behaves like a person with sight (oooooooh watch out sighted villains, he's back on level pegging with you now).
If you gave them super hero grades they'd all get a hard C and the villains are basically just strong business people.
a couple of regular looking punch ups across 8 episodes is not enough action for 4 supposed super heroes.
Agents of shield had better super heroes and they are all bit players in the marvel universe. not headliners.
