no, in fact my day job is in I.T. Ive always enjoyed creating and fixing things. Used fiberglass a fair bit including making a few disc wheels. Always repair my Tubs and tubes etc. I recently cracked the seat clamp area of my race bike and when it came back from a so called carbon repair expert i was disappointed with the repair work believing i could do better. Ive since fixed 2 broken Hed 3 wheels for other people and a friend needs a patch on a flight damaged disc wheel after competing abroad so that will be next when he drops it off this weekend. This frame was obtained from the person that stripped what was good off the frame for the owner - it was destined for the bin, i merely asked it i could have it to practice on.
