I don't know which other bike you're referring to.
The frame, like the wheels, is nothing special and the groupset is anything but a set: even the shifters are mismatched and the only nice part is the RD.
The MDT decal is just a chainstay protector that cost a couple of quid: its means nothing.
If you get it for £300, then well done: you've only paid at least £50 too much!
