How did you manage that? Doesn't the CDA fork have a tapered steerer?

This might be of interest - I'm leaving the club, for now: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/309496/#comment13817105

The fork is from an older CdA, before they introduced the taper steerer (this year?). It was grey, I cleaned it up and sprayed it black.

Cross posting this from the Genesis owner's thread:
What are my chances of getting a 2017 model Croix de Fer 20 towards March next year? I'm unlikely to be able to afford/want to buy one before then and the blue imo is much nicer than this year's model. They don't seem to come up for sale second hand much either... -

I'm 5'10 and have an inseam of 32 - Do you think I'd be a size M or large in the 2017 Croix De Fer?

Been commuting on my 2018 Croix de Fer for a couple of weeks now. Pretty much OTP for now but will upgrade bits as they wear out. Love it.
Apologies for phone pic.

I could really tell the difference between the original steel & the replacement carbon fork I got last week. Half a kilo difference at the front! Now it's the back end which is the heavy bit.

Sorry for the late reply!
The basket and rack are a BLB set:

The bigger seatpack is an Alpkit Koala and the smaller one is made by Altura, I think it is this one:

Got super muddy with mine today on a 50 mile mainly off road jaunt. Such a capable bike, never fails to impress me.

Had the best intentions of going for a CdF ride myself this morning but it never happened after seeing the clouds. Kind of wish I had now looking at your bike.

That was only about a 3rd of the way round - you should have seen it at the end, absolutely filthy ha.
Was cold and cloudy first thing then sun came out, I’ve promised myself I’m going to ride every Sunday I have free this year... so far 3 muddy sub 2 degree rides. Will make me appreciate the warm even more if it ever comes.

My commute and hopefully (when I do some) touring CdF. I’ve put the Carradice Super C on in place of a Tubus rear rack for the commuting bit.

Carbon fork. Took off steel fork (1300 grams) and replaced with carbon one from CdA (720 grams). Handling and speed-wise, I can't tell the difference.
