I have a 56cm Surly Cross Check. The frameset is a couple of years old but was new and unused when I got it about 6 months ago.
Had it built up professionally with nearly new parts - pretty much full Campag Veloce with a Mavic A319 wheelset.
About 2 months ago it had a full service and got fresh (gumwall!) 38c Halo Twinrail tires, riser bars with thumb shifters (instead of drops), Paul Components brake levers, and front and rear racks!
It is so ready for an adventure! It's sad to be using it merely for commuting and the occasional towpath run.
