I suspect the underlying cause (apart from them being Leeds fans obviously) is the pain in realising that their spell in the sun is over for the foreseeable and they have to accept that Burnley are at the moment a bigger club.
It must really screw up their "we deserve to be in the premier league" narrative.

How long is it going to take them to realise that they're just another shithouse Championship team who are right where they deserve to be. The league is full of teams with histories that mean fuck all - Forest, Sunderland, Preston, and obviously most deservingly of all, Ipswich, all have claims to be below where they 'should' be.
Leeds are far down on that list, and they're cunts. Chris Wood owes them fuck all, and the arrogance of that article says a lot. Has he forgotten they were in League One more recently than the PL?
I don't get this vitriol at players who leave for more money or to play at a higher level. Its impressive when people don't take it, but its natural to want to progress and have more money for retirement. Can't knock ambition. I'd love some more money, who wouldn't?
Woods isn't from Leeds, he's not been there that long and from what I can tell has never claimed to be 'Leeds for life' or anything like that. Every club is a stepping stone (on the way up for younger players or down when their legs go).
