Ah. That's a bit more of a challenge.

I have a bike like that the only solution I could think of is a P-clip around one of the chainstays then the issue is how do you make 'T' junction there to connect to the guard ..

DMR threaded clamp and some spacers on my touring bike

Shoo goo is your friend here. Used it on a similar issue on mine.
It sticks the guard to the frame, yet remives without marking.
