'Container' should be singular. I'd also say 'the London Fixed-gear and Single-speed web forum'.

Good spot. My poor typing saved from an eternity of shame, thanks.

I'm local to the start, and into a bit of the K, the L, the F, and the Ology, so I'll try and tag along for the first sections.
And if you're looking for things to burn I've got 45 45s (7"s not Drummonds book) we can sacrifice. I can't be arsed carrying them around for miles, but we could burn them in Wick wood (a place ov magick) which is about 3 minutes away from the start.

What's your Townhouse/Shebu ETA?

Good idea, though would hate to sacrifice that much vinyl. Pick one to send off I reckon. Leaving for mick's now, there for 7pm 👍

Should be able to give you a good idea once we're assembled for the off. At the moment I'd say 9-9.30, but will keep you posted 👍

Loving the photos on Twitter. Well done. Sorry I couldn't do it (past my bedtime in the end...).

We dispensed with the individual pyres in the end and had a 'grand' bonfire in Hyde Park, before the internment. All went well, though we ditched Battersea and I did Stockwell on the way home. Good night for a ride though!

Now the dust has settled on the weekend, I'd just like to thank @marcomarcos and @606 for an enjoyable ride around London on Saturday night. We had the most perfect weather, and the ride west with the sun setting was just beautiful. It turns out that setting small fires in public is easier said than done, so as mentioned above, we had to resort to one 'big' fire before burying the contents somewhere. Thank you @marcomarcos for your encyclopaedic knowledge of quiet routes around town, made it all the more enjoyable. For anyone who wants to see our progress, check the Twitter account (@KLFGSS) for photographic evidence (again, thanks to @marcomarcos for superior photographic/social media skills). @606, sorry we forgot to burn your Elvis track!
Tl/dr, much fun was had.

This is interesting:
“Everyone sees it for what it is: the vanities of successful rockstars with not enough money to burn... The three of them tried to save some sort of artistic grace by claiming they were misunderstood and they were going to call a Twenty Three Year moratorium on their collective creative activities. In their reckoning, these 23 years would give the hoi polloi, the art establishment and the international jet set enough time to assess the reasons why three ex-rock stars felt whim enough to burn a pile of money so big it could have saved one million starving Ethiopian babies from certain death.

Also i would love to see Greg Wilson and DJ Food doing KLF inspired sets. Bet that will be amazing
I'm currently trying to think of 'sacrifices' that can be made/burnt which will be buried in an airtight jar (purchased). At the moment, I have in mind various record covers of JAMs songs, and a packet of minced Lamb (for the steps of the Lancaster). I will attempt to burn a £5 note, and will also destroy any surplus spoke cards, but any other suggestions are most welcome. Need to be small-ish, don't want po-po rocking up all excited.
Also, the twitter handle @klfgss now exists to which photos and video will hopefully get uploaded on the night. If anyone wishes to contribute to this, I'm happy to divulge the login details.
This is the information that will accompany the ashes in the buried jar.
