Hi , interested in getting a to cross type bike . My budget is tight at mo so wondering if you had any idea as to a finished spend I might incur . I could buy SRAM Apex group but unsur as to how much wheels may cost . Have you ever used 650 wheels with big old tyres on for off-road crazy stuff and then could I potential place in some high end light road race wheels ( obviously) disc brakes . And perhaps keep up on a fast Sunday club ride . Massive thanks for any input on this 😀Mark

I know several people who do this, off road with fat tyres ( it fits 700 x 40mm nanos) and on road with 28mm. My frame is easily capable of doing both.
Cheapest route would be tiagrA groupset and bb7 or trp brakes.
Should be easily less than £1000 if you shop around -

still for sale, £450 cross is coming...
Selling my 'spare' frameset as I was only keeping it just in case something happens to the one I use most days. Brilliant frame and very versitile, I've had mine running 1x11, 2x11 700x28, 650x50, 650x42...
Brilliant frames and very flexible, mine is currently set up with 650b wheels and 47mm wide tyres (50mm also fit) see photo below.
Covered less than 1000 miles and includes headset/forks with decent amount of steerer. No decals. I have a spare set of 650b wheels if you want to try them out.
I am 5' 8" and frame fits me perfectly with a 110mm stem
Looking for £500 collected or can post at cost
