embarrassed by wearing some of the best kit about? nope, can't see it myself.
-

I really like the new Colombia kit but there's no way my lardy arse can get away with wearing something that says Rey de las Montañas all over it

The RCC/brevet lines are really garish though.
-
• #29330
in what way is the rcc or brevet kit garish?
-
• #29331
(admittedly garish for practical reasons)
-
• #29332
RCC kit isn't to my taste really but I wouldn't call brevet garish at all.

It's just the pink and white strips that I find too much. Especially when there's a peloton of rapha on an audaxes and they're all dressed the same way.
-

The pink/white strips on grey... Eugh.
-
• #29336
if you don't like them, that's totally fair. But I feel garish is just inaccurate for most of rapha's stuff, especially when the rest of the cycling world is chock full of properly garish shit.

So back to the Pro team lightweight wind jacket. What fit should I aim for? I've got two sizes to try, I can get both on, one is a little tight in places, the other more generous and comfortable, but the neck opening is relatively big. Is tighty tighty alright or does it need a bit of a loser fitting to do its job properly?

Always tight!

Rapha [...] audaxes
I thought they all wore Lidl bibshorts or Ronhill Tracksters

Or garish club kit. Way more garish than anything Rapha make. A peloton of Rapha on an audax would normally be the easiest thing on the eye in my experience.
Not sure if I should name names but the old San Fairy Ann kit which I kept seeing on audaxes springs to mind...
The real thing was a lot more garish.

But are you experienced?

And no it isn't.

Has anyone tried/got a PT flyweight jersey? I have a pro team climbing jersey from last year and with hardly anything in the pockets it sags pretty badly
-
• #29346
No it isn't what? Garish? The one on the right was a lot pinker IRL. Or there was a pink version. That's just one example. I like old school garish club kit, don't get me wrong.

Meanwhile: empires have risen and fallen, glaciers have retreated, acorns have turned into mighty oaks...
...and the sale is still on. Is this the longest ever?
-
• #29348
Thought the Asda boys bought it?
-
• #29349
Yep. Was good for me. In terms of 'pocket sag' I can only compare it to an older PT aero jersey but I had it fairly loaded up and it was pretty secure.

Cheers, it looks like they ditched the mesh side panels of the PT climber that seemed to be the problem
Nah not for me. There was PE involved before and there is PE involved now, just that this one has ties to Walmart
